Delassus limits pesticide use through Integrated Pest Management and biological crop protection. Pruning wood reused as mulch has allowed us to eliminate chemical weeding.
Delassus develops water-saving solutions adapted to each crop, and keeps improving them:

Citrus: weather stations, soil moisture probes, sap-flow sensors and satellite monitoring guide every irrigation, checked daily. Our citrus uses 21% less water than Moroccan benchmarks, and our avocados 19% less.
Snacking tomatoes: 100% of Duroc’s farms grow in hydroponics with a closed-loop system. Unused water is recovered, analysed, enriched with the required nutrients and reused. 40% of Duroc’s water needs are covered by seawater desalination.
Flowers: 100% irrigated with desalinated water.
